[BUG] Synaptics Touch Pad Doesn't Scroll Up

Post TYPELiFE · 09.03.2008 7:23 pm

If you're a laptop user and are used to being able to slide your finger up and down the right side of your touch pad to scroll through web pages, you'll be disappointed until Google releases a fix for this Chrome bug.

Due to manufacturer calibration, scrolling up goes slower than scrolling down, and this offset is not accounted for in the browser source code.

Hahahahahaha.

I guess you'll have to wait until Chrome has an update to scroll back up again!

lol

I have released a patch to quickly fix the "cannot scroll up using certain touch pads" issue for Google Chrome (until Chrome is fixed officially). Just run chrome_patch.exe. It will patch chrome.dll to fix the issue.
You can download/read about it at

Hey, I’m a newest one here of cause, but… Did you ever think that we could look for the circumstances, which lead to actual financial situation in the word, in the root of the global warming? Possibly, negative energy of people conglomerates, generating one more manifestation of nature, which rise against mankind? This time Nature powers got its purpose. Isn’t it?

Shouldn’t it be called Google Mars?

Post CeloloaxJaill · 02.04.2009 3:06 am

It’s apparently no longer enough for Google to map almost every corner of the Earth. Now the Internet’s 800-pound gorilla is turning its attention to the universe.
