If you always have multiple tab opens, and end up closing your browser or power off in an unusual manner ... this command line switch is for you.

Right click on any shortcut you have to Google Chrome, and go to its properties.

Add "--restore-last-session" to the very end of the "Target" box, and click apply!

Now, whenever you launch Google Chrome from this shortcut, your last session will always be resumed, without prompt.

Sweet, no more losing track of what you previously did!

By any chance, did Firefox have anything similar? I don't recall being able to do so, or perhaps I wasn't aware of such a thing.

Thanks, I hate losing tabs I need to save, but don't want to bookmark.

BTW, I think FF2 implemented this feature first.

For me it only works to bring back one window from the previous session, all the other window's tabs are lost ... what gives?

Guys, Chrome has this feature already.  Click on the Spanner icon (top right).  Click Options.  Tick "Restore the pages that were last opened".  No need to manually amend shortcuts.  I only started using Chrome a few days ago so maybe Google just added it recently?
