Do you have video on your homepage? YouTube and other video sites like that were crashing my Chrome.

It just disappears? Can you check and see when it disappears if a process of chrome.exe is still running?
Also, do you have multiple anti virus programs installed, or anything that might prevent some new installation from opening?

It might be happening when both Mcafee and Webroot both ask your computer to check the new web page at the same time, cancelling each other out.
Have you experienced this problem with the most up to date version of Google Chrome?

Is there a way on Chrome to check for updates? Go to the "Wrench" icon, and click About Google Chrome, there will be an update status icon on the window that opens.

I am getting the same problem. I start chrome. Go to a couple of webpages and about 5 minutes later, Chrome just disappears. Most of the time I will have 2 or 3 tabs opened up. There is no error message. No windows open saying there was a problem.
I am using Windows Vista Home Premium. Using Chrome 0.3.154.9. I have one anti-virus program AVG.
And at the time, I am usually not doing anything at all. It happens on all kinds of websites. Sometimes I will be reading a blog. Othertimes reading a message board or an online newspaper. It even will close down the Yahoo webpage. This only happens every so often. It started maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago. It would do it once a day for 3 or 4 days in a row. And then it wouldn't happen again. It just did it again tonight for the first time in over a week. And once it does for the day, it won't do it again until the next day. If you have any questions, let me know. I would love to get rid of this problem...I am addicted to Chrome!

I'm having this same problem, I will be looking at a page and it will just disappear or if i leave the page open and get up and go get a drink or answer the phone and come back it will be gone, if you open chrome again it will say chrome shut down wrong would you like to restore your last sesssion and it will open it back to where you were. It started happening either after firefox updated or adobe updated. Not really sure.

What happend to me is that the window goes completely off screen to the right and a right click on the taskbar icon and clicking one of the menu items brings it back. Sorry don't recall which of the menu items does it.
