Being a firefox user, I'm a sucker for themes and skins. To change out google chromes' colors I've been trying the skins they offer. I put the new file in the right place etc. and when I go to start up google chrome, it looks like this:

I'm running the newest beta version: 3.0.193.2 but this was happening when running the most current stable version of chrome as well. and it's no matter what theme I'm using. Even if it's the same version as the chrome I'm using. I've tried using Xchrome, reshack, etc, and nothing's working. I'd be deeply grateful if someone could help me get these themes working!

If you're having trouble installing themes in the new version, it's possible that they want people to use the new method of the .crx theme/extension install file.

Try some of the themes over at the official google chrome theme directory: https://tools.google.com/chrome/intl/en/themes/index.html
