There once was a time when chrome was super fast. It has since become progressively slower so that now I no longer use it. I just try it now and then to see if it's still slow. I often find it hung up if a flash session is left active. For example it almost always crashes if a finance.google.com stock screen is left open for a day.

This also causes me to worry about other such things such as Google's new operating system on the smart phones, and although I was close to doing so, I have decided not to make a switch from the iPhone to a phone with the Google OS. Because chrome has become worse, I also worry that the android OS may also become worse with time. And the same goes for the new Dell tablet that runs the Android system when the screen is detached.

Any thoughts?

John
