have you tried http://www.lastpass.com ?

you need to register at that site and follow the instructions (pretty standard) and then make sure that the "always show bookmarks bar" is checked under the "wrench" icon (settings) and follow the instructions to add the bookmarklets. It is not as integrated as it would be on Firefox but it is better than nothing! (if you follow the instructions, it guides you through importing your passwords from other managers...)
