I agree, this is a perfect place for Google to really shine with user/browser interaction, building a core dedicated audience while drawing new users. I know a lot people who use iGoogle but won't to switch to Chrome, but if there was a considerable improvement using Google Chrome, be it new features or whatever, they might change their minds.

well it only makes sense, and it was the reason i tried chrome to begin with.  i thought it would sync my bookmarks when i add them, notes when i make them, have cool features like 'open new googledocs / gmail / whatever tab' or something.  but no.  so it's essentially pointless.  i can log into my igoogle with any browser so why would i switch?  there's just no incentive.  for a company with so many available online tools, they sure missed the mark with chrome, afaic.
