Google Chrome assigns a unique "Client ID" to each user's installation of Chrome. Some might believe this is used to track user searches, or just obtain general information about you.

You can use this neat utility, Google Chrome Privacy Guard, to automatically hide this Client ID every time you use Google Chrome.
