Title: Google Chrome Is OFFICIALLY Out Of Beta!
Post by: TYPELiFE on December 12, 2008, 12:52:08 AM
Yeah, you heard me. Google Chrome has dropped it's beta wheels. (http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/12/google-chrome-beta.html) How does that feel? Ooh, it makes me tingle all over.

Google hit the ground running with Chrome and just kept speeding up. Google Chrome's new v8 JavaScript engine runs at 1.5 times the speed than it did in the first beta. Video plugin issues have been resolved. Bookmark manager? Got that too, now.

Hopefully they direct their blitz to developing the Google Chrome Extensions Platform (http://dev.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/extensions) they released documentation for.

So, make sure you hit the Wrench and update!

Yeah, that's cool and all, but I'm still waiting for extensions/plugins. :)
