When loading most .xml files, Google Chrome will display the raw XML data, with no formatting. Just one big wall of text and brackets.

Example: http://static.blip.tv/rss/bliptv-dailyfeed-20070806.xml

Screenshot: http://i36.tinypic.com/ev2gyv.jpg

Solution: View source, and it will be formatted in the source window. (CTRL + U)

Formatting by default should be fixed in the next version.

Any news on when this bug will be fixed? I work with XML web services constantly, and this bug prevents me from using Chrome as my primary browser. Please bump this up in priority!

Thank you.

My organization will be publishing an API which will include raw XML files as part of the documentation. These will render properly in IE and Firefox, but not on Chrome. Situations such as these affect how a web browser is perceived by web developers. The API will be used by about a dozen organizations to start.
