I never really use it, but my boss asked me for a recommendation so I want to suggest a good one to him.

Which anti virus program stays most up to date with their "threat" database, which ones don't seem to give false positives, etc.

What do you think?

Kaspersky Anti Virus (KAV) is usually really good about being the must up to date virus database available, and the GUI for their scanner is pretty neat as well.

The usual lot is Kaspesky
AVG
Norton
Avast and so on.
I personally like to go with Spyware Doctor Cheesy
